Hi!

Yes, it has been a while since I posted my first message in May. My intention was to post something regularly, and then life happened.

In three more days my husband and I head across the country to take our daughter (and our only child) to college. I have taken some time off over the summer to spend more time with her.

I'd love to start a dialogue with others who have gone through (or are going through) the empty-nest phase of life. What pearls of wisdom do you have to share with those of us who have yet to venture through this phase?
